Cosy City Centre Apartment with Parking

Convenient location for an event at the Arena Positive: Great location near to the Arena, hot shower, clear instructions to get in (once we received them). Good sized apartment. Acceptable for a one night stay. Negative: The parking is for evenings only, the apartment smelled strongly of air freshener like it was masking a cigarette smell possibly. Wallpaper was falling down, and the little treats left looked like they had melted and then reset, so didn’t feel tempted, and the tv didn’t have any channels, but we could sign into prime.

Was nice but wouldn’t stay again Positive: Very nice area to stay in. Staff were very friendly and helped us get the keys and everything towards the property. Negative: The toilet wouldn’t flush and kept trickling water all night and day. No WiFi inside the apartment. The cutlery was dirty and stuck to the table. Run out of toilet roll, and punched hole inside the wall.

Didn’t end up staying the night due to an emergency, but had a few hours in the apartment and it felt very awkward - lik Positive: Very good location, pick up & drop off of the keys was easy enough. Negative: Felt like it was someone else’s home that they had vacated for the night for us, wasn’t the cleanest. A lot of damage & scratches to walls, furniture ect. No light bulb for main light in the bedroom, strong smell of aftershave on entrance, random puddles of water in places like hallway and under the fridge freezer.

Very dirty flat Positive: The location Negative: Well, 1st the attitude of the host. Should have some clear pictures of the key collection point and parking as it wasn't easy to find. And when we called him, he spoke with a superior attitude and kept on saying to follow the instructions, like we are very dumb. Then the flat: burned out light bulb in the living, radiator not working in the living, towel rail not working in the bathroom, broken extractor, broken freezer and full of ice, hair inside the fridge, rusty kettle and the property was extremely dirty and dusty. Because we only had 2 hours available to reach an event, didn't get the chance to contact Booking to ask them to change the place. As soon as we arrived, we found hair in the bedroom, in front of the mirror. Called the host and he "apologised" and sent the cleaner, suppose to be, to clean it. She apologised and removed it with a dirty cloth and left. What more to say? It's a pity because it's very nicely decorated but it's absolutely filthy. And everything in the flat it's either scratched or faulty. Clearly the host only cares about the money, not about any standards. Please avoid
